A member of the Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jr., is set to celebrate his birthday with a mass empowerment programme aimed at supporting constituents in Obingwa West (Uhie) State Constituency.

The event, scheduled for April 11, 2026, will take place at Azuogwugwu, Umuaro Village, beginning at 12 noon. It is expected to attract prominent political figures, stakeholders, and community members from across the state.

The programme will be held under the distinguished chairmanship of Chief Sam Nkire, while the Chief Guest of Honour is Benjamin Okezie Kalu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Also billed to attend as Special Guest of Honour is Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain and former Governor of Abia State. The Chief Host for the occasion is Chris Akomas, a former Deputy Governor of the state.

Organisers say the event will combine celebration with social impact, as beneficiaries are expected to receive various forms of support under the empowerment initiative.
