JESUS CHRIST’S RISING; OUR JUSTIFICATION.
*Romans 4:25 says: “. . . and (Jesus) was delivered up because of our offences and was raised because of our justification.”
*From the above passage, Jesus died and paid with His blood, for us to be washed clean of our sins; but was raised by God His Father for us to be justified to be called clean and righteous.
*The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which we Christians celebrate as Easter, go to show that we can be rest assured that we have not only been justified, but redeemed, qualified, sanctified and made righteous.
*1Corinthians 1:30 says: “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.”
*Had Jesus Christ died and not raised from the grave by God His Father, it would have been a great shame; and there would have been no justification for us to be addressed as qualified, sanctified, redeemed, spotless and righteous.
*Colossians 3:3-4 says: “You died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”
*What this means is that we have become inseparable from Christ. It also means that wherever He goes; we go.
*Since He can never end up in hell, it all means we’ll go to heaven with Him when He comes back, again.
*But let us note that the only reason we might not be part of this heavenly plot is if we don’t believe in Jesus Christ and His work on earth (John 3:16).
