BELIEVING IS NOT PART-TIME; IT’S FULL-TIME AND ALL-TIME.
Matthew 6:24 says:”No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You can not serve God and mammon.”
*Believing or serving God through the gospel of Jesus Christ is not to be carried out on a part-time basis. You are either in or you are out. You are either cold or hot. You can not be lukewarm; you have to give your all.
*Revelation 3:15 says that God will spit out or disown such Christians who are neither here nor there; without firm commitment to the gospel of faith and the spirit of grace. God knows our works and efforts and is more than able to rate our commitments and steadfastness.
*Jesus, speaking about having unalloyed faith in Him by the Centurion in Luke 7:9 said:”I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel.”
*Absolute and total belief in the powers of God through Christ is very important and necessary in man’s walk with God. When we surrender absolutely to the powers and will of God to bless, He is bound to come through for us and answer our prayers.
*Make no mistakes about it, part-time believing, part-time faith and worship do not come with full-time rewards or benefits.
*With ‘great faith’ or full-time believing, just as Jesus said in the case of the Centurion, your miracle or expectation is sure to come.
*Jesus also healed the devil-possessed daughter of a woman from Canaan, not because of the woman’s part-time belief but full-time faith (Matthew 15:22-28).
