WHAT WILL JUDGEMENT-DAY LOOK LIKE FOR BELIEVERS IN CHRIST?
*To begin with, God is more interested in saving mankind than having sinners perish or destroyed. God does not wish any of us to perish or be condemned to hell (2 Peter 3:9, 1Timothy 2:3-4).
*Unlike what non-believers who don’t believe in the birth, sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ think; the judgement -day for the believer is going to be a day of vindication, reward and evaluation of the life of the believer and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, while here on earth.
*It is not going to be the usual day of judgement and sentencing for those who have followed the spirit of God which lives in the believers’ hearts.
*Romans 8:1 says:”There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
*For those who follow God through Christ; who walk in the light of His words according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh, they shall not perish but have everlasting life. No condemnation; no judgement for them, per se.
*True believers are clothed in Christ’s righteousness because they are in Christ. They should have no fear on the judgement-day because Jesus shall also be their advocate.
*Actions, good deeds and motives undertaken for the love of Christ shall surely survive the test.
