GOD LOOKS AT YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST, NOT WORKS.
*Christians receive their supplies or answers to their prayers through faith in Christ, not works or obedience of the law. *Favour comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and belief in His complete work of redemption on the Cross of Calvary.
*Apostle Paul in his letter to the people of Galatia, asked them in Galatians 3:5:”Therefore, He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith?
*It is obvious that Christianity works better through the Spirit of faith, now in our hearts, than through the whole hog of obeying the laws of the old covenant.
*The book of Romans 3:20 further enforces our having faith in Christ and no other, in that it says:”Therefore, by the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
*Believing in Jesus Christ and putting our faith and trust in Him is paramount, supreme, and non-negotiable for the Christian. Let us, therefore, save our breath and deploy our faith in Christ and not work.
*For further emphasis on faith, read Galatians 2:16:”Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.”
*Let us do well to believe and have faith in Christ Jesus and not in the works of the law.
