DON’T CRY TO GOD ALWAYS, WE NOW HAVE THE POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
*Unlike what goes on in politics, where a dictator can appropriate the constitutional powers of another official, the kingdom of God allows everyone to use or exercise the power or authority given to him or her by God, and to the fullest.
*Rather than cut back Moses’ authority, God loved to see Moses exercise his powers. Read Exodus 14:15-16: And the Lord said to Moses, “why do you cry to me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand at the sea and divide it. And children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.”
*Like Father, like Son; Jesus also urged us to always invoke the power of God, which Jesus gave us after His encounter at the Cross; in order to surmount our earthly problems.
*The book of Matthew 28:18 reads: And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, ” All authority has been given to Me, in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
*Jesus held no special powers back for Himself; he gave it all away. He limited no one but rather gave his followers more powers.
*We as disciples of Christ, have no doubt, been bestowed with authority and power to get things done through faith in Christ.
*John 14:12 says:”Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”
*Jesus has truely gone to His Father. And now we have the power when we pray in, and trust the name of Jesus to help us.
