TO THE WORLD WE’RE FOOLISH; TO GOD WE’RE WISE.
*To the world and non-believers, the concept of the gospel of Jesus Christ and Christ’s birth via a virgin, amount to foolishness. But to God, the concept of the gospel was to deliver His message of love and salvation to those wise enough to believe.
*Some people of the world, represented by the Jews and the Greeks (Gentiles), who seek signs and knowledge do not still make sense of the gospel till this day.
*However, Corinthians 1:18, 22-23 says:”For the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. For the Jews request a sign and the Greek seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greek foolishness”.
*Non-believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ, who don’t believe in Holy Spiritualism, see the gospel as a stumbling block and foolishness because it is not physical but preaches forgiveness, grace and faith in Christ through the Holy Spirit, instead of obedience to the law.
*Rather than see followers of the gospel as foolish, Jesus Christ saw the unbelievers as foolish, instead. In Matthew 7:26-27 Jesus Christ said:”But everyone who hears these sayings of mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on sand . . . “
*Choosing to follow the gospel is the wisest decision anyone can make in a lifetime. 2Timothy 3:15 says: “And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus”.
*To many, Christianity is foolishness. But to God, wisdom to the believer.
