GRACE DID NOT COME FOR SIN TO CONTINUE.

Romans 6:1-2 says, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead  in sin, live any longer therein?”

*Grace and sin do not live or work together. Grace came to eliminate sin while the Holy Spirit came to guide us out of temptation and sin.

Knowing that our old nature  was destroyed and crucified with Christ on the Cross, we are now perfected and sanctified by one man’s sacrifice for sin forever (Hebrews 10:12,14).

*Romans 8:16 says, “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.” Therefore, children of God must separate themselves from sin and the works of darkness.

*When you trust God  you will have the grace to live righteous and enjoy the promises of God (Romans 4:16).

*However, if you fall into sin, you must not keep lying down with it. You must get up. God says you’ve got the power in you (1John 4:4).

*1Peter 5:8 – 9 also says that children of God must be sober, vigilant and ready to fight and resist the devil who seeks to destroy us.
