2Corinthians 4:7 says: “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.”
*The presence of Christ Jesus is the treasure in us; without Christ there is nothing in us. The treasure (Jesus) in us is the antidote to fear, if we believe.
*Expect good things to happen to you all the time. Do not say: “who knows if He will answer.” Say: “I know He will surely answer.” Saying ‘if’ makes your expectations weak and probable.
*Ephesians 6:17 says: “And take the helmet of salvation, and the word of the spirit which is the word of God; ” The thought or hope of salvation is ‘the helmet of salvation’. And knowing that Christ is now in you after being saved, guarantees you all-round security and fearlessness.
*As earthen vessels, we have Jesus Christ as treasure and power in us. And the treasure in us casts out fear and doubt from us, when we call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
*Always remind yourself that you have treasure (Jesus) in earthen vessel (you), who is most powerful and capable to defeat the devil who always tries to deceive, discourage and depress us, if we yield.
*When the believer sounds the battle cry of faith; the conqueror in us ‘who is greater than the one in the world’ will go to battle on our behalf.
