WHAT ADAM COULDN’T DO, JESUS DID.
*While Adam was a product of creation or flesh, who couldn’t resist temptation and therefore brought sin to the world; Jesus Christ was spirit who came as flesh, resisted temptation and brought redemption and righteousness.
*John 9:7 says: “And He said to him, go wash in the pool of Siloam (which is translated, sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing.”
*Jesus Christ was sent to this world by God to demonstrate through His gospel and miracles, that what creation (Adam) couldn’t do, Spirit (Jesus) could and still can. When flesh fails, the Spirit takes over. When work (self-effort) can not do the job, faith (believing) does it. What healed the blind man at the pool of Siloam was faith not work.
*Galatians 3:13 says: “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, cursed is anyone who hangs on a tree).”
*While Jesus Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law and gave us righteousness as a gift, Adam couldn’t resist his first temptation in the Garden of Eden, thereby leading the human race into sin.
*Let us therefore, put our lives and faith in our unfailing redeemer, Jesus Christ. Let us not continue to be tutored by the law but by the spirit.
*Galatians 3:24 says: “Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.”
*Jesus restored all rights, privileges, and powers that man lost when Adam sinned, by His death on the Cross which brought us righteousness and redemption.
