KNOW YOU NOT THAT YOUR GOD IS EVER FAITHFUL?
Psalms 143:13 says: “The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving towards all He has made.”
*The preceeding verse says that God is faithful and will not go back on His promises to mankind. The verse also says that the Almighty God whom we serve, is loving towards all persons whom He has made or created.
*Infact, God’s faithfulness is so sure that in 2Timothy 2:13, the Bible says: “If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.”
*But that is not to say that we should not be faithful ourselves or believe in His faithfulness to the end. Believing that He is a faithful God who must keep His promises is for our own good and ultimately, our peace.
*God is so faithful that He called us to His Son’s fellowship to be saved. 1Corinthians 1:9 says: “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His son Jesus Christ our Lord.”
*Now, being in fellowship with Christ, believing and preaching His gospel of righteousness by faith; we should have enough faith to rely on God’s faithfulness to His promises, especially to the believers.
*Hebrews 10:23 says: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” God assuredly delivers on promise. All you need do is to believe that He is faithful to whatever He promises.
*For instance, God promised in the book of Joshua 1:5: “. . . I will never leave you nor forsake you.” If you believe, so shall it be in Jesus’ name, Amen.
