AS WE BELIEVE, PRAY AND WAIT. . .
Hebrews 13:15 says: “Therefore, by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. “
*While we pray and wait in faith, we should not occupy our hearts with worry and doubt. We should rather worship and praise, as speaking the words of God in praise and songs “is the fruit of our lips.”
*Mark 11:24 says: “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them”. Unanswered prayers are determined by how much doubt or faith we apply to our requests.
*Also, do not harbour hate or unforgiveness in your heart as you wait in prayers for God’s promises; as Mark 11:25 affirms, “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.”
*Psalms 63:3 further says: “Because your loving-kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.” And because our God is most loving, able and ever-willing to answer us, we have no choice but to keep praying and hoping in His faithfulness.
*As you believe and wait in faith for your prayers to be answered, Hebrews 13:16 says: “But do not forget to do good and to share; for such sacrifices, God is well pleased.” Amen !
