LIVING UNDER THE NEW COVENANT
Hebrews 8:10 says, “. . . I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts. . .”
*God’s laws of love, liberty and faith will automatically be put and written in our hearts and minds when we repent and believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ which preaches the the royal laws of love (Matt. 22:37 – 40), liberty (James 1:25) and faith (Romans 3:27).
*When these laws, which are laws of the new covenant, have been written in your minds and hearts by God because you believe in His son Jesus Christ; you will find yourself saying: “that evil can’t happen to me because I know that God loves me.”
*God loves us so much; God loved us first before considering our love for Him. As a matter of fact, it was God’s unconditional love for us that led to His sacrificing Jesus as propitiation for our sins. It was God’s love for us that made Him ask Jesus to give the Holy Spirit to every believer (John 16:7), in fulfilment of God’s will for us, believers.
*Life under the new covenant is most exciting, in that God has given us His spirit, “that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.”
*God wants us to know that blessings such as food, health, happiness, salvation, righteousness, grace, liberty, love, faith, fearlessness, abundant life; have been freely given to the believer in the gospel and the new covenant, being that the old one became obsolete.
