From Marcus Nkire

United Nigeria Airlines on Monday handed over social media influencers Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkman, and Freedom Atsepoyi, known as Mr Jollof, to airport security following a heated altercation during the boarding of Flight UN0523 at Asaba International Airport.

The clash, which quickly went viral online, appears to be the latest chapter in a series of public spats between the two influencers. Sources suggest that lingering personal disagreements, compounded by recent online provocations, escalated when both men attempted to board the flight simultaneously, resulting in a physical confrontation.

The airline confirmed that its crew acted promptly to de-escalate the situation, deboarding both passengers to protect fellow travelers. United Nigeria Airlines stressed that passenger safety remains a top priority and reiterated its zero-tolerance stance on behavior that threatens security or disrupts operations. Flight UN0523 departed safely after authorities took custody of the two influencers for further investigation.

The incident has reignited conversations on social media about accountability and conduct among high-profile personalities, highlighting the intersection of personal disputes and public spaces.
