From Marcus Nkire

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has responded to the rescue of the sister of former Power Minister Adebayo Adelabu and her children, expressing confidence that more victims of kidnapping across the country will regain their freedom.

His reaction followed the successful recovery of the victims, who had earlier been abducted in Oyo State. The incident had generated concern among relatives, public officials, and residents before security personnel carried out the operation that led to their release.

Commenting on the development, Keyamo conveyed hope that ongoing efforts by security agencies would result in the return of other individuals still being held by kidnappers. His remarks have attracted attention as authorities continue operations against violent crimes nationwide.

He also acknowledged the role played by security personnel involved in the mission, describing the outcome as an indication of the determination of law enforcement agencies to protect citizens and confront criminal activity.

The rescue operation has been seen as a positive development in efforts to address kidnapping, which remains a persistent security issue in different parts of Nigeria.

While welcoming the safe return of the victims, Keyamo also encouraged families whose loved ones remain in captivity, noting that work is still ongoing to secure additional rescues.

Investigations and security operations are expected to continue as authorities seek to track down those behind the incident and strengthen measures against future cases.
