IT’S THE BLOOD; NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF CHRIST.
*It is the blood of Jesus Christ that makes all the difference in the life of a Christian, nothing else. It is Christ’s blood which was shed for the remission of the sins of offenders who repent and accept that Christ, the one crucified, is the Lord and Saviour of mankind.
*Simply put, it is through faith and believing that we are saved by the blood of Jesus which was shed and sanctified, so that we may have salvation.
*Romans 5:9 says:”Much more then, having now been justified by the blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through Him”.
*There is therefore no doubt that it was because of the blood of Jesus Christ, and no other; not the blood of bulls, as was the case in time past, that sinners are redeemed. The Holy Bible corroborates this in Ephesians 1:7 which says:”In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”.
*For the love that God has for sinners, He put His begotten Son, Jesus Christ to death so that Jesus’ blood could serve as propitiation for the sins of all who believe in the gospel of Christ.
*God had to use the precious blood of His precious Son so that the sacrifice would be ‘once for all’, until Jesus comes again. God did not use the blood of animals; neither did He use silver nor gold but the blood of the Holy One, Jesus.
*1Peter 1:18-19 says:”Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct, received by tradition from your father’s. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”.
*Without the precious blood of Jesus, there couldn’t have been a ‘once for all’ remission of sins for the sinner. Nothing but the Blood !
