YOU’RE MADE PERFECT AND HOLY BY JESUS’ SACRIFICE.
*Christian believers are blessed with perfection and holiness by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the spilling of His blood at the Cross of Calvary which cleansed our sins.
*This Christian belief is based on the Holy Bible which says in Hebrews, chapter 10 verse 14, :”For by one offering, He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified”.
*Sacrifice or burnt offering, Jesus did not desire or require for Himself; but for our sins He died and shed His precious blood, in fulfillment of the will of God the Father; to save the world from punishment in hell.
*Psalms 40:6&8 says:”Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; my ears you have opened, burnt offering You did not require. In verse 8 it says to God the Father:”I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is written in my heart”.
*But for the obedience of Jesus Christ to die and sacrifice His body for our sins, once for all, it would have been very hard for us to be perfected and made holy by our good deeds.
*Having come to this glorious moment of our salvation, Hebrews 10:12 says:” But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God “.
*Jesus Christ’s ‘once for all’ sacrifice for our sins on the Cross of Calvary, made us perfect and holy for salvation. And we better believe it!
