GOD IS OUT TO SAVE YOU NOT TO PUNISH YOU.
*God made it clear in John 3:17 that He sent Jesus Christ His Son to die for our salvation and not to punish or condemn the world. Read:”For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
*The main purpose why Jesus was sent to the world; the main reason why pastors are ordained is to preach the gospel, the good news, which is that life is better and will even be much better, if the world goes with Christ.
*The reason why believers and preachers are recruited by God is not to spend more time preaching, warning, frightening people about the apocalyptic end of the world; rather, it is to spread the good news of grace and love for the sinner who repents, telling him or her about salvation and all the blessings attached to repentance. It’s not about the doomsday. It’s about the freedom day.
*1Thesselonians 5:9-10 says:”For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.”
*This sounds more attractive than describing the hot temperature and horror of hell and how it burns through eternity.
*The priests of the old covenant preached death and punishment, but it didn’t change anything.
*What changed everything
is the blood of Jesus and His complete work on the Cross, which brought grace, forgiveness of sins, redemption, and salvation for the believer (John 3:16).
