THE GOSPEL IS THE REAL DEAL
Matthew 6:33 says:”But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.”
*From the above verse, the gospel which takes you to the kingdom is not just a dress rehearsal; it’s the real deal, the right deal and the only deal.
*If you hear the gospel and believe it, you should have no need to worry, fear or doubt. The gospel provides everything we need or will ever need in life. All we have to do is to believe.
*The gospel, according to St. Matthew 6:34 says we should not worry about tomorrow as tomorrow is designed to worry about its own troubles and things.
*A true believer knows that there’s no problem God can’t take care of or solve. And it should not be difficult for whoever claims to be a believer to know that worrying over day-to-day problems amounts to unbelief.
*Matthew 6:32 brings us good news, though, in that it says:”For after all these things the gentiles (unbelievers, others) seek; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” But unfortunately, many of us still worry, fret and doubt.
*Jesus Christ further assured us of the good deal we have in His gospel, in the book of Matthew 17:20 which says:”Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
*What it all means is that your answered prayers don’t depend on the size of your faith. Just believe !
*Furthermore, 1 Corinthians 1:21 says in part: ” . . .it pleased God through the foolishness of the message (gospel) to save those who believe.” The deal here is in believing the gospel of Jesus Christ which many think is foolishness. WHAT A DEAL !!
