BEFORE THE WORLD WAS THE WORD; AND THE WORD WAS JESUS CHRIST
*As a Christian, when you hear the ‘Word’, know that the ‘Word’, simply put, is Jesus Christ.
*If you read the book of John 1:1-5, it says: “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God . . . All things were made through Him (Jesus), and without Him nothing was made that was made. . . “
*If you read through chapter one of St. John’s gospel, you won’t doubt the fact that Jesus is the Word of God; because John wrote and preached that God sent him in advance, to come and announce the coming of Jesus, an embodiment of the word of God himself.
*John further wrote that God sent Jesus to preach His Word to the whole world, including the Jews and the Gentiles, so that whosoever believes in Jesus and His Word shall be saved from sin, diseases, destruction and hell.
*When the book of Psalms 107:20 said: “He sent His Word and healed, and delivered them from their destruction;” it meant that God sent Jesus Christ, the embodiment of His Word to come and heal the world and deliver us from destruction.
*Now, solution to our problems as Christians, lies in our receiving the Word which God has sent us through Jesus and a host of His prophets and preachers.
*Such words can be found in Isaiah 53:5 which says: “But He (Jesus) was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him; and by His stripes we are healed.”
*God has sent His Word (Jesus) for your healing, prosperity, protection and salvation. Receive the Word and live; here and hereafter.
