BELIEVE IN GRACE TO REIGN OVER SIN.
*If you don’t believe in God’s gift of grace, but prefer to work or struggle it out in life, you can hardly reign over sin, poverty, ill-health, fear or anxiety.
*In the book of Romans 5:17, the Bible says:”For if by the one man’s offence, death reigned through the one, much more, those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.”
*From the foregoing, you don’t need much explanation to know that Adam and Eve brought death (sin) to the world; while Jesus Christ brought life (righteousness) through grace to the world.
*It will therefore not be wrong to say that Adam and Eve allowed sin to reign through them to the world, while God, through Christ, gave us (beleivers) grace to reign over sin.
*If you believe in grace, you are bound to reign over sin and live in righteousness because Romans 5:20-21 says:”Moreover the law entered that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more; so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life, through Jesus Christ.”
*If you are a Christian and a follower of Jesus Christ; or you want to become a Christian, you must believe in grace to make nonsense of sin because wherever grace enters, sin is destroyed.
*Grace not only destroys sin, grace is superior to sin and obliterates sin in its wake. Grace catapults the believer to eternal life through the gift of righteousness by faith; through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
*Life and righteousness are made easy for the Christian by grace, in that Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me all you who labour and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and you shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” This love is eternal “
