King Charles Meets Prince Harry, Meghan and Their Children in First Family Reunion in Four Years
King Charles III has met Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in their first family reunion in four years, signalling a possible thaw in relations within the Royal Family.
The private meeting was held on Friday at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, where King Charles and Queen Camilla received the Duke and Duchess of Sussex along with their children.
The gathering was particularly significant as it was the King’s first in-person meeting with Archie and Lilibet in several years. It also comes after a prolonged period of tension between Harry and the Royal Family following his and Meghan’s departure from official royal duties and their move to the United States in 2020.
Buckingham Palace acknowledged that the family met but said the occasion was strictly private. No further details about the discussions were released, and no official photographs were made public.
The reunion has prompted renewed discussion over whether the meeting could pave the way for improved relations between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family after years of public estrangement.
