SURROUND YOUR FAMILY WITH GOD’S SHIELD BY PRAYER
*For the believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ, God acts as a shield and protector, protecting us all our days; especially when we rely on Him through prayer.
The book of Psalms says in chapter 5:12:”For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favors You will surround him as with a shield”. Don’t forget that believers are made righteous by the blood on the Cross (Rom. 5:9).
*The Lord, God Almighty surrounds us with a shield. And how we remain protected is to remain steadfast in prayers; knowing that there is nothing that we want for ourselves and family, that is not already given to us at the Cross by Christ’s dying.
*Romans 8:32 supports the above passage by saying:”He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things”.
*God is ready to protect and give us all things, and even the evil one knows it. That was why Satan asked God in Job 1:10 :”Have You not made a hedge around him (Job), around his household, and around all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land”.
If you believe in God, believe in Jesus Christ His Son also. Surround your family or household with God’s shield by praying in the name of Jesus Christ — John 14:14.
