HEALING IS GOD’S SPECIALITY; ONLY BELIEVE
*It won’t be out of place or an exaggeration if the Ministry of Jesus Christ, while here on earth, was simply defined or described as the Ministry of Healing.
*There were well over 50 cases (if not much more) of healing by Christ during His short period of work, lasting about three years.
*To support the assertion that healing was Christ’s second nature, Matthews 8:16 says:”When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with word, and healed all who were sick.”
*Accounts abound about numerous supernatural acts of Jesus, which help to convince many people of the world that Jesus is truly the messiah.
*These miracles include but are not limited to healings and resurrection of people from the dead.
*In as much as Jesus performed numerous miracles, He did not hold back on His miracle working powers from His disciples.
*Jesus told His disciples in John 14:12:”Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works I do, he will do also, and greater works than these he will do because I go to My Father.”
*Miracles were first associated with our Lord, the Almighty God, who is actually the Father of all miracles. Even the miracles Jesus Christ performed, He did in His Father’s name. The disciples of Jesus performed their own miracles in name of Jesus.
*But before the coming of Jesus Christ, the prophets of Old, such as Elaijah and Elaisha healed the sick and raised the dead to life in the name of the Almighty God.
*We, too, can heal, even ourselves; if only we believe in Jesus Christ to help us — John 14:12.
