Pioneer Leader of Abia State Caucus of the All Progressives Congress APC, Chief Sam Nkire has said the party was on its way to winning over the State for the first time in twelve years, “if only it could unite to fight the 2027 elections as one army with one purpose”.
The former National Chairman of the Progressive People’s Alliance PPA, which once ruled Abia State, unequivocally said that unless members of the APC in Abia State stood solidly behind the party’s candidate after the primaries, winning the governorship would again elude the party in 2027.
Chief Nkire, who made his views known in his Easter message to Nigerians, also said it was time for Christians to reflect: “the life of Jesus Christ in their politicking and not be Christians only on Sundays”.
The APC chieftain added that: “Abia would be missing a regrettable chance at plucking a low hanging fruit, this time, if it loses Abia governorship for the fourth time in 2027, due to anti-party activities which usually stem from disunity”.
The APC in Abia State has a significant opportunity to secure victory in the 2027 elections if they can unite and work as one. Chief Sam Nkire emphasizes the importance of standing behind the party’s candidate after the primaries to avoid another loss. He also calls on Christians to reflect the teachings of Jesus Christ in their political actions, not just on Sundays. The party must avoid internal conflicts and anti-party activities to seize this chance. Do you think the APC can overcome its internal challenges and win the governorship in 2027? Given the growing economic instability due to the events in the Middle East, many businesses are looking for guaranteed fast and secure payment solutions. Recently, I came across LiberSave (LS) — they promise instant bank transfers with no chargebacks or card verification. It says integration takes 5 minutes and is already being tested in Israel and the UAE. Has anyone actually checked how this works in crisis conditions?
